Our History

Transmedia was founded in 1987 in the attic of two entrepreneurs. They started to supply university libraries with the books they needed. What started as a small-scale business quickly grew due to the quality of our service and our strong relationships with both customers and publishers. After a few years, we moved to a small office with warehouse in Amerongen, where we expanded our business and began supplying books to international organizations and corporate libraries.

Over the years, our customer base continued to grow, and we adapted to the changing needs of the market. In the past decade, we have increasingly specialized in providing textbooks to international schools and school libraries, a market in which we have now established a strong position. Today, Transmedia is run by a dedicated, local team with extensive experience and commitment, working hard to maintain our reputation as a reliable partner.
